Worldwide Clinical Trials has been announced as a finalist for a second year in the 2017 “Best Contract Research Organization – Full Service Providers” category of the Scrip awards. The six shortlisted companies, chosen by a panel of 16 judges, were chosen for the innovation, dedication and hard work they have displayed in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries during the past year.
The “Best Contract Research Organization – Full Service Providers” category acknowledges the critical role CROs play in drug development. The finalists, selected by an independent panel of highly respected experts across the sector, were judged on the quality of services and relationships they have built with their clients, paying particular attention to the innovative patient recruitment strategies CROs are adopting.
“We are delighted to be shortlisted for the prestigious Scrips award for the second year,” said Peter Benton, president and COO at Worldwide Clinical Trials. “This continuing recognition is a real testament to the hard work of our team to deliver an uncommon combination – operational excellence, unique therapeutic focus, deep relationships with investigators and sites, and a global footprint – to help sponsors achieve value in every engagement.”
Now in its 13th year, the prestigious Scrip awards seek to highlight the essential role the pharmaceutical, biotech and other allied industries play in improving healthcare, and to recognize exceptional corporate and individual achievement. The winners will be announced at the Scrip awards 2017 ceremony in London on November 29.
This nomination is the latest in a series of awards that recognize Worldwide’s uncommon, proven approach to CRO excellence.
