Virexxa – New Opportunity for Patients with Late-stage Endometrial Cancer

Riin Ehin, Chairwoman of the Board and CEO of Competence Centre for Cancer Research, partner and CEO of Bravo Healthcare Ltd., submits a paper on endometrial cancer. This disease is often detected at an early stage because it frequently produces abnormal vaginal bleeding, which prompts women to see their doctors. If endometrial cancer is discovered early, removing the uterus surgically often cures the disease. Thus endometrial cancer has relatively favourable prognosis for patients in cases of early diagnosis and timely treatment. Stage IV endometrial cancer represents a relatively small subset of the disease, but is a deadly diagnosis lacking effective tolerable treatments.
