South Korea: Convergence of High Tech and Biotech

Take a look around your office or your home, wherever you are reading this, and the chances are pretty high that you’ll be using something made in South Korea. Sue Lee of World Courier explains the reasons why South Korea is the world’s most innovative country, according to the Bloomberg Innovation Quotient. In 2010, it became the first Asian country and the first non-G7 member to host a G20 summit. It was also the first former aid recipient to join the OECD Development Assistance Committee and an important contributor to the International Development Association (IDA), the fund established to support the world’s poorest countries.
