Since its formalisation in 2006, the Cardiac Safety Research Consortium (CSRC) has facilitated research projects, think tanks, and many publications in medical and scientific journals in the field
of cardiac safety. All of this activity has moved the field forwards in a productive and efficient manner. However, cardiac safety is, to some extent, still regarded as a highly specialised and rather esoteric discipline. Rick Turner discusses how the CSRC is now taking steps to make this work more widely known.
