CRF Health Recognized as a Finalist in 2016 Scrip Awards

TrialConsent™ solution named in ‘Best Technological Development’ category

Plymouth Meeting, PA – September 15, 2016: CRF Health, the leading global provider of eCOA solutions for the life sciences industry, announces that its TrialConsent™ solution has been selected as a finalist in this year’s Scrip Awards. Shortlisted in the ‘Best Technological Development in Clinical Trials’ category, TrialConsent is a first-of-its-kind eCOA-native electronic informed consent technology which promotes participant compliance and retention by driving better comprehension of a study’s unique requirements.

Finalists were selected by an independent judging panel comprised of senior industry experts from around the world. As the first solution to offer both eConsent technology and eCOA on a single platform, TrialConsent has been recognized for its ability to remove the need for any additional consenting technologies to be included in a trial’s design, significantly reducing the burden and complexity for study teams.

Commenting on the announcement, CRF Health’s CEO Rachael Wyllie said, “We are delighted that the judges have chosen TrialConsent as a finalist in the 2016 Scrip Awards. It’s great to see that the panel has recognized that the solution solves a major problem in clinical trials by enabling eCOA and eConsent to be implemented using the same platform, without the need for separate systems.”

The Scrip Awards, now in its 12th year, is among the most prestigious in the calendar for the life sciences industry. The ‘Best Technological Development in Clinical Trials’ category acknowledges excellence in developing sophisticated platforms to catalyze and optimize data gathering. The winning technology will be announced at the Scrip Awards 2016 ceremony in December.
