Training on its own tends to work quite well when people need to make a small change to the way they work. Also, some mandatory training, although it may just be a ‘tick box’ exercise, satisfies the FDA, so ‘job done’. Sometimes however, you need somebody to make a big change to the way they work. John Faulkes at agio Interactive provides an overview on this situation, and how we find that training courses and e-learning courses have a terrible failure rate.
